Lorenzo, a Bay-Area native is becoming a more and more valuable asset to the Washington Redskins due to his versatility on the field. He is known to be the guy that comes out of nowhere according to former coach Joe Gibbs. Originally undrafted, he has worked his way from practice squad to a player used at multiple positions in 2007.With a new head coach and coaching staff, 2008 will be full of opportunity for Lorenzo. He currently lives in Ashburn Virginia with his wife and daughter. As a graduate of the University of California Berkeley, Lorenzo earned a Bachelors Degree in Legal Studies within four years. While excelling academically, Lorenzo was a four year starter for the Golden Bears Football Team. Lorenzos foundation for excellence was laid at ST. Marys College High School in Berkeley. In the classroom he excelled and challenged himself by maintaining a 3.8 GPA, and athletically became one of the top recruits in the country. Lorenzo Alexander was born May 31st, 1983 at Oakland Naval Hospital to Stephanie Moore and Gerald Alexander. Reared by his mother and influenced greatly by his Uncle Steve, Lorenzo learned to respect others, work hard and always believe in himself.
