ACES - Accountability, Community, Education, Sport


CES Status: Lorenzo Alexander "ACES" Foundation is a chapter of The National Alliance of African American Athletes (NAAAA). NAAAA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and serves as the fiscal agency for the Lorenzo Alexander "ACES" Foundation. Lorenzo Alexander "ACES" Foundation was created to provide enrichment programs for youth.

Our Vision: Implementing programs to help youth realize they have self worth and are capable of achieving their ambitions and dreams. We intend to strengthen children's accountability, academic weaknesses, emotional and spiritual health and athleticism.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to support youth through emphasizing self Accountability, taking pride in our Community, striving for Educational excellence while promoting a healthy mind and body through Sports.

Our Goal: To encourage young men and women to take pride in their community, serving as mentors to the youth in an attempt to create a positive cycle. Our goal is that every youth will be inspired to obtain a higher education, pursue a career, maintain a strong family unit and then give back to their community.

Lorenzo Alexander - Founder of "ACES"
Lorenzo, a Bay-Area native is becoming a more and more valuable asset to the Washington Redskins due to his versatility on the field. He is known to be the guy that comes out of nowhere according to former coach Joe Gibbs. Originally undrafted, he has worked his way from practice squad to a player used at multiple positions in 2007.With a new head coach and coaching staff, 2008 will be full of opportunity for Lorenzo. He currently lives in Ashburn Virginia with his wife and daughter. As a graduate of the University of California Berkeley, Lorenzo earned a Bachelors Degree in Legal Studies within four years. While excelling academically, Lorenzo was a four year starter for the Golden Bears Football Team. Lorenzos foundation for excellence was laid at ST. Marys College High School in Berkeley. In the classroom he excelled and challenged himself by maintaining a 3.8 GPA, and athletically became one of the top recruits in the country. Lorenzo Alexander was born May 31st, 1983 at Oakland Naval Hospital to Stephanie Moore and Gerald Alexander. Reared by his mother and influenced greatly by his Uncle Steve, Lorenzo learned to respect others, work hard and always believe in himself. Lorenzo has always had a passion for his family, friends, and the community in which he grew up. GCC & Lorenzo coming soon.
