Are there deadlines for registration? No, you can even register the day of the event!

Is there an age minimum to participate? No, all ages are welcome! Infants and toddlers may be pulled in baby carriers or trailers.
Is there an age minimum to register? Yes, you must be 18 years of age to physically register in person or on the web site. If you are 17 and under, you must have a parent or legal guardian register you.
If I'm under 18 years of age, do I need to ride with my parent or legal guardian? Yes, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied at the event and on the trail by their parent or legal guardian.
Who has to register? Anyone riding a bike must be registered. The only individuals that don't have to register and pay are infants and toddlers in baby carriers or trailers.
What time should I arrive? See the registration or information page for check-in and start times.
Can I bring my friends and/or family if they are not riding? Yes, you can bring your friends and family to cheer you on at the start of the ride and join you during the post-ride celebration.
What items do I receive with my registration fee? An Event T-shirt, a Rider Handbook and many fantastic gift items donated by our proud sponsors.
What kind of support will be on the trail? Bike Marshals, Safety Patrols and Mechanical and First-Aid personnel as well as rest stops with hydrating drinks.

From I-495 take the Dulles Toll Road (Exit 67, Rt. 267 west) to Reston Parkway exit (Exit 12). Turn right on Reston Parkway then left on New Dominion Parkway (3rd light).
From Washington D.C.
Take I-66 west. Merge right onto Rt. 267 (Dulles Toll Road)/Dulles Access Road. When the road splits, stay in the right-hand lanes. Follow Rt. 267 (Dulles Toll Road). Pass under I-495 and proceed as described above.
From Eastern Loudoun County
Take Dulles Greenway/Dulles Toll Road to Reston Parkway exit (Exit 12) and turn left on Reston Parkway. Turn left on New Dominion Parkway (4th light).
Where do I park? Reston Town Center provides FREE and ample parking, with over 7,000 spaces, available in six garages and one surface lot. Click here for a parking map PDF
Will there be a clothing and personal items check station? No; however, a Sport Sack will be provided to each registered participant. The Sport Sack can hold small items (keys, wallet, phone, water, etc). We encourage you to leave larger personal belongings in your locked vehicle.
Do I have to finish my pre-committed distance or can I turn around early?We encourage you to complete your committed distance; however, if you need to turn around early, you may do so.
If I can't pay by credit card, who should I make my check out to? The Lorenzo Alexander "ACES" Foundation. You can also pay by credit card the day of the event.
If I just want to make a donation to the foundation, where do I mail donation checks?The ACES Foundation, 305 Washington Street, Suite 101E, Oakland, CA 94607. You can also make a donation on-line.
Can I mail a cash donation with a donation form? No, thanks! We only accept checks and credit cards!
Will I get a receipt from my donation? Yes, a receipt will be given upon receiving the donation via email and mail.
What is the exact route for the event? The route begins at Reston Town Center Pavilion and immediately enters the W&OD Railroad Regional Park Trail heading west to toward Purcellville, VA for a scenic, fun and challenging ride. Is there an insurance waiver to sign? Yes, this must be completed by all participating riders. You can find it once you select the Register tab. The tab will link you to the Event Brite site. There you will register and be required to agree to the waiver electronically. There is no need to print the form. If you are under the age of 18, your parent or legal guardian must accept and sign the form, too.
Will I get to meet the participating Redskin players and local media personalities? Yes, you will have the opportunity to meet, greet and possibly ride with them as well as receive autographs.
What Redskin players and media personalities will be present? Washington Redskins Lorenzo Alexander, Kedric Golston, Ryan Kerrigan and Anthony Armstrong as well as former Redskin players, Derrick Dockery and Antwaan Randle El. Also joining the ride are our media Honorary Chairs, Kelli Johnson of Comcast SportsNet and Mike Wise of WJFK 106.7 The Fan & of the Washington Post. More names coming soon!
Are bike helmets required? Yes, we highly encourage all participants to wear bike helmets for your own safety. Ride to Provide and The ACES Foundation will not be held responsible for any injuries suffered due to the lack of helmet use. Please see the waiver form under the registration tab for more information.

Is my information secure? ACES foundation has made every effort to protect your information. They use industry-standard SSL encryption techniques to make sure your credit card information, passwords and personal information travel securely over the Internet. They have also installed an encryption engine on our database server so your data is securely stored.
How is my credit card information handled? Credit card information is not stored in our database. During the donation process, we send your credit card information to an online processing terminal using a secure connection. The information passed back is an approval or denial for the credit card donation.
